Hiroshima what good came of it?

Despite what people think, it was pragmatism at its finest. I've heard plenty of idealists moan about how it "cost too many lives". The next option was a full scale invasion of Japan; added up the casualties from the two bombs were, I believe, under 300000. A full scale invasion had a projected casualty rate of 1000000. We even warned them they were facing annihilation; the fact that they wouldn't listen is sad, but not our fault.
